I do have a story that I'm currently working on which, until it's released, I'll refer to as The Killer Baby Story. However, today I spent the afternoon doing a quick re-edit of a short story that I wrote some time ago. It is the first story in the Pest Control series. It's been available on Amazon for a while, but has only ever received a couple of reads. I'm going to do a new cover for it as I've never been happy with the one that it has, which I did myself as a physical painting then scanned it into my computer. I've also got some new fancy pants editing software so I figured I'd put the story through that, and tidy it up a bit. The new edit has made a decent difference which I'm fairly happy with. So now I need to put it through my new ebook formatter, Atticus, and then start on the new cover art. I have a few ideas for the cover. I'll do another post to show the stages of this.
The second story in the Pest Control series is also complete. Just needs a go-over with my edit software, which should hopefully be fairly painless... The first one was a short story, but this one is much longer, a novella. It took me a long time to get it done as I had lots of personal stuff to deal with in my life which really effected my writing. I'm aiming for 2024 to be a bit of a fresh start, so fingers crossed.
